High Court Session in Kasese District

High\r\nCourt judge Akiiki Kiiza advised residents to settle civil cases like land\r\ndisputes out of court.

Hon. Justice Akiiki, who is the Fort\r\nPortal resident Judge, made the remarks in Kasese District while opening the\r\nHigh Court session at the Chief Magistrate’s Court on Monday 20, 2014.

The Hon. Judge was prompted to speak\r\nabout the matter by the district vice chairperson, Mr Tadeo Muhindo, who asked\r\nfor court’s guidance over increased land conflicts that have resulted into\r\nkillings and delayed justice in the district.

\r\n\r\n

The High Court session is\r\nexpected to last 30 days and will handle 30 capital offences.
